A Purrfect Murder – a brand new murder mystery party!
A Purrfect Murder is a feline murder mystery game for 9–12 guests and one hosts, set at a cat fancy show during the modern day. Cats, contestants and criminality! Who will win the Purrfect Paws Pageant? Written by Karolina Soltys. Recommended for ages 15+.
It is the final of the Purrfect Paws Pageant, a cat-fancy competition boasting a $1,000,000 prize! The feline contestants, their owners and the judges arrived at the Catford Hotel and Exhibition Center yesterday evening.
Unfortunately, Lady Catherine “Kitty” Percival, the extremely wealthy owner of competition frontrunner Baba Ganoush III, was found dead in her hotel room earlier this morning. The judges and contestants have been detained in the exhibition center pending a police investigation. The hotel is cordoned off by the police, preventing the public from attending.
However, the show must go on! The contestants and judges are gathered in the exhibition hall to mingle, crown the pinnacle of feline grace and beauty and, perhaps, find the killer of Lady Percival.
High-stakes cat fancy is a dangerous world rife with bribery, theft, blackmail, and all kinds of dodgy dealings – even murder! Who killed Lady Percival – and why?

Our new shop
Over the last few weeks, we have been busy behind the scenes moving everything to our new shop. This should be more robust than our previous system – and it now looks like a proper online store, with a basket, checkout, reviews, and everything.
However, there is one difference, which is that download links expire after a couple of weeks.
We’re always happy if someone wants to download their game again, however long it is since they purchased it. We’ve had some people run the game again years after their first purchase –and we do occasionally update and improve the games, so even if you still have the files you may want to get hold of the latest version.
So, if you want to re-download the files for a game that you’ve purchased in the past, please contact us with the name and email address that you used to make the purchase (so we can check our records), and we’ll set you up with the files again.
Christmas and the holiday season
It’s that time of year again! The holiday season is a busy time for parties, and murder mystery games are always popular over the festivities and into the new year!
And with the opening of our new shop, we’ve now bundled the festive and non-festive versions of the games. So if you buy The Night Before Christmas, you also get Dazzled to Death included for free (and vice versa) – and the same for the others.
(We used to do this anyway – but we did it manually when customers asked us for it. Now it’s all automatic!)
French and German games
Many of our games are available in French and German. Our French partner is FranceMurder, and our German partner is Krimispiele-Seite.
