The Show Must Go On!
The Show Must Go On! is our new murder mystery game.
In something of a departure for us, we’ve written The Show Must Go On! so that it takes no more than an hour (including introductions and debriefing). So it’s ideal as part of a larger gathering – or even a lunch break.
As it’s short, the mystery is simpler, and The Show Must Go On! is ideal for new hosts (and can even be played by the host).
In seven days, the curtain rises for the opening night of the Haberford Amateur Dramatic Society’s refreshing take on Romeo and Juliet by William Shakespeare. However, one of their lead actors, Edna Crossley, was found dead two days ago: she had been murdered!
Now, with one week to go, the company meets in the village hall to find a replacement for Edna. Thanks to HADS’ inclusive casting policy, anyone can audition for any role—no matter their age, race, gender or experience. (Edna, playing teenage Juliet, was in her fifties.) Competition is likely to be fierce!
But why is Detective Morgan Camberwell here? Surely they can’t think that Edna’s murderer is here? Find out at The Show Must Go On!
In Search of a Dead Man’s Chest
One of our customers, Melissa Midcap in Ohio, used our A Dead Man’s Chest murder mystery game and turned it into “In Search of a Dead Man’s Chest”, an interactive pirate dinner event.

Court in the Act – updated
We’ve finally done it – we’ve updated Court in the Act to our modern format.
Looking back at 2024

At the start of every year, we look back at the previous twelve months to see what we’ve done and what we could have done better.
