In Snow Business, the stage is set for an innocent family gathering, with a few friends and strangers added to make the party go with a swing. However, not everyone is as they seem - some have dark secrets they need to keep hidden… and someone is the killer. Your guests will be in the middle of the action, and it will be up to them to wheel and deal to get what they want. Will they achieve their goals, keep their secrets hidden, and solve the murder?
"Snow Business was GREAT!!!! "I can't remember the last time I've had so much fun or laughed so hard."

Each winter, the Harrisons and the Perrys ski in the French Alps and always rent the Chalet Flaubert. They hire the whole chalet and bring both families and friends. The holidays are usually an opportunity to relax and unwind away from the pressures of normal life, but this year has been different. Jacqui and Mariella have been arguing, Lucy has sprained her wrist, snow has cut the chalet off – and tonight, real tragedy has struck.
A few minutes ago, John Morgan was found dead at the foot of the attic steps, his neck broken at an unfortunate angle.
Nobody can leave the chalet; and there is no phone or radio in here… Did John fall or was he pushed? Is there a murderer in Chalet Flaubert?
"I love your games! They are easy to set up and do. I have tried other ones and they are inferior in my opinion. All of my Snow Business players had a wonderful time. I have already had several ask me when we are doing another one!"
Christina Haley, United States
No combat, no poison.
One character will die during the game, and will be replaced with a new character for that guest.

How Freeform Games murder mystery games work
Snow Business is unlike other murder mystery games. Although the game starts with a death, each character has several goals they must try to accomplish. While they may want to solve the murder, Snow Business contains plenty of other plots and secrets to keep everyone busy. Snow Business isn't scripted, and lets the players decide how to achieve their goals and thwart their enemies.
On the evening of the game the guests are met by the organizer and welcomed to the chalet.
They then receive their detailed backgrounds – including dark secrets, goals, and items. The fun then begins as they form alliances, blackmail each other, steal items, and maybe even resort to murder!
Finally, the game concludes and everyone finds out how they did, and what secrets everyone else was concealing.
Recommended for ages 18+
We recommend Snow Business for those aged 18+, as it contains references to infidelity, and a potential cousin relationship.
Extra characters
Sometimes you have too many guests and need more characters. So most games have free extra characters (written by us or previous hosts) included in the download when you purchase the game.

Great way to bring a group together! The character info and guidance was excellent, giving players purpose and encouragement to interact with each other to figure it out.
Christine Kelly –
I’d like to say thank you for putting together such a rich and detailed story, in Snow Business – it made my job as host very easy. The guests had a really great time, and loved the dramatic twists. I hope we’ll do another for my friend’s next birthday.
Carlos –
THIS WAS ASWESOME! Photos submitted by other reviewers doesn’t do justice to the good time you will have!

Fun time.
Stefanos Konsta –
We just finished Snow Business and it was a blast even with the limited time we had. we DEFINITELY liked it.
Matthew –
I would highly recommend getting a Freeform Murder Mystery Game. The material provided in well thought out, and there are lots of articles and resources online with tips and tricks on hosting a murder mystery party. Snow Business was my first time hosting a murder mystery party. Everything went smoothly, now I can’t wait to tackle one of the bigger parties. The best part of Freeform Games is that the guests really determine how the game will unfold. They can be as creative as they want to be. My guests loved it.
Annie Higham –
We played Snow Business last night, and had a great time. The weather was unseasonally warm, and everyone turned up in their ski kit. Some people had never met each other; before but within minutes they were all in character. Lots of great photos to remember the night!
Nicholas Nikolakopoulos –
We did some Snow Business in Chalet Flaubert, two days ago. We would have sent feedback earlier, but we were still discussing about the game! Everyone had great time, really enjoyed the subplots and delved into the characters. The story gave us the opportunity to create an impressive environment of the chalet, with stage props and music (We used the fifties era). Really great experience, though it was our first serious mystery party game. Thank you!
Christina Haley –
I just wanted you to know Snow Business was a huge success! Everyone involved had a wonderful time! I have now done two of your murder mysteries and plan on working my way through all of them! I have already had several folks ask for another one. Overall my guests and my family had a blast and we will be doing it again soon!

Snow Business was our second game from Freeform Games – our son just LOVES them – and we will do it again, definitely!!
We didn’t have much time to prepare because our son hadn’t completely decided on whether or not to do a game this year.Even with our hurried time-frame, it was very easy to pull together!
The last game we did was Casino Fatale. We loved them both. Snow Business was on a much smaller scale and we had a lot more time to talk to the players, eat and generally have a great time.
GREAT FUN!!
A Customer –
I chose Snow Business because it was appropriate for the number of players, age appropriate, and because we were all gathered for a winter vacation. The setting was perfect!
It was so much fun! Even though one of my characters had to be gender-swapped, careful planning on my part ensured the appropriate amount of scandal that surprised many people at the end of the story!
Sarah Nelson –
I have run a murder mystery birthday party every year for my birthday from Freeform Games for the past 4 years. All of my friends love them and year after year when it comes to fall, and then to December (when my birthday is) they ask me every day if I have chosen the theme yet. Everyone really gets into it and tons of lies are spread. It is great because it really plunges everyone in to interact with one-another – no icebreaker needed! Alliances and secret meetings and evesdropping are some of my favorite parts. Thanks, freeformgames.com for making the best parties ever!
Karen Rainford –
I purchased Snow Business to play over Christmas / New Year period. A group of us (18 in total) rented a chalet in Morzine and we played it there. I actually only got back yesterday. The game was brilliant, it went down really well, everybody enjoyed it… So thank you Mo and Steve it was excellent.

Snow Business was GREAT!!!! "I can’t remember the last time I’ve had so much fun or laughed so hard. The ‘singles’ ministry at my church participated (as one of our monthly activities) along with some single friends from my job etc. It was an absolutely wonderful evening! Everyone involved, including myself, had never participated in an event like this but it went over so well you would never have known. I had to fight to stay in character I was laughing so much. There are a few things that I will definitely do differently next time but I guarantee you THERE WILL BE A NEXT TIME!!! I was so pleased with the entire set up, my friends were so excited to participate and I went ALL OUT rearranging and decorating the chalet (my children almost didn’t recognize the place). "I tried to be as authentic as possible, using actual props instead of the item cards. I even found a photograph on the internet to use as a photograph of ‘Mariella Harrison’. Nobody wanted the game to end! I gave out trophies for the ‘Best Costume’, ‘Best Actor’, ‘Best Actress’, ‘Best Secret Revealer’, ‘Best Secret Keeper’, ‘Best Crime Solver’, & ‘Top Goal Achiever’, I also gave out certificates of participation to EVERYONE! No one leaves a singles ministry event empty handed so they also received a little gift. It was wonderful! My daughter (12) had such a blast helping me choose who would play each character and helping with other things during the evening, it was simply fantastic. "Now all of my married friends and family want to do it too! I’ve decided that I’m going to do it two or three times a year, just because!!!!! Even my teenage nieces and nephews want to try it. I can’t wait to do it again, I’ve been raving about it all week! "One thing that I think helped a great deal and was extra fun for me was (an electronic genius) friend of mine helped me put together a CD of me reading all of the instructions and the character sheets for each person (with mood music and everything). Even though the participants received their information in plenty time to read through it they really didn’t have to. They could listen to it all at home, in the car, wherever!!! When they arrived and picked up their envelopes (at the check-in desk 🙂 they were well prepared and all they had to read were their ability, info and secret cards!!!! Again, It was just great!!! I can’t say enough and I will be recommending this game to everyone I know!!!!!!!!!! Thanks for a great time!!!!!!!
